FAQ

Got a question?

What Does a Birth Doula Do?

A Doula is a labor assistant. We support mom's and dad's with physical, emotional and spiritual support. We offer a sisterhood of support with other doulas, lactation consultants and other information you might need to feel confident in your upcoming birth.

Doulas support all types of birth, hospital, birthing center or homebirths. We do not replace your partner we work with them to help you have the birth you want.

How will hiring you affect my partner’s role during the birth?

I do not replace your partner. Instead I help guild them on how to help you. We work together as a team to make sure mom is being heard and cared for. Some time dads can feel lost or unsure, perhaps they want to get involved but not sure how. This is where I help to not only educated mom but dad as well.

Do I have to have a home birth to hire you?

Not at all. I have done homebirths, hospital birth, and birthing centers. I am here for you.
